National research project launched: WWFM1

Greenest A.I. has launched a new national research project supported by the National Research Foundation (NRF) as a follow-up to our DWaRF-X initiative. This project aims to develop Wastewater Foundation Model No.1 (WWFM1), a domain-specific foundation model designed to support next-generation wastewater resource recovery systems. Building upon the dynamic water forecasting and management concepts explored in DWaRF-X, WWFM1 seeks to integrate environmental process knowledge with advanced AI technologies to enable more adaptive design, operation, and decision support for decentralized water infrastructure. Through interdisciplinary collaboration across environmental engineering and artificial intelligence, this research aims to contribute to more resilient, decentralized, and sustainable water management systems.
